May's Charity: Alveus Sanctuary

Alveus Sanctuary is bringing convservation and education to the digital age. They've used Twitch to help raise over $1 million dollars to take care of their animals, build new habitats, and provide more content.

Alveus Sanctuary was founded by Maya Higa, a big streamer on Twitch that focuses on animal education and conservation. This was a great segway into using Twitch to help run a nonprofit. Their livestream is the primary source of funding for the charity, as Twitch users can easily subscribe or donate 24/7. Throw their stream on to check out some cool animals while you farm some rice!
